  Norwich meets Bury for the first time ever in the League Cup and we expect a win for the Premier League side. Norwich are set to field a host of fringe players tonight and new striker signings Gary Hooper and Johan Elmander are likely to debut. Bury are without Tom Soares through injury and on-loan Jordan Sinnott who is unable to take part in the competition as part of Huddersfield’s contract. Norwich players will get the chance to impress tonight and an upset is unlikely.

  Arsenal play Fenerbahce today and we think Arsenal will win this one. Arsenal won the first leg 3-0 despite being away from home and looked very impressive. Fenerbahce are poor travellers and have not won away now for 9 matches in all competitions. Arsenal are desperate to qualify for the Champions League and we expect them to finish the job especially with them being at home.

  Ilves play Kajaani today and we fancy Ilves to get back on the winning trail in this one. Ilves are 4th in the league whilst todays opponents are bottom of the league. Ilves did lose last time out but that was against the league leaders. On the other hand Kajaani have now lost 4 in a row and haven’t won a game for 15 games now. At home Ilves have been strong winning 6 of their last 9 and losing just 1.

  The Saints travel to Barnsley today to face a side they have not lost against since 2007 (5 meetings) and with Osvaldo likely to make his first start we feel the odds offered on this are a steal. Barnsley have started their league campaign poorly with just 1 point from the opening 4 games, they have conceded 12 goals over these and will likely leak in more today against much stronger opposition, especially considering they are without new defender Jean Yves Mvoto who was handed a ban following a sending off in the league.

  Bolton play Tranmere today and we fancy Bolton to win but take the draw no bet as insurance. Rangers have scored 13 goals and conceded just 1 in their last 3 games and have taken their place at the summit of the table, big favourites to taste promotion yet again; they can field a strong team in this competition and a win by a few goals is likely. Away from home Berwick are very poor, they have won just twice in 12 fixtures and look set to make that 13 today, giving Rangers progression to the Quarter Finals against Queen of the South for the second year running.
