NEC are on average scoring over 3 goals a home game this season and are undefeated at home. They are conceding less than a goal a game home and away dominate each fixture possession wise. They have only lost one game all season in an away defeat to PSV II. VVV are in mid table and had an average start to the campaign with some pretty inconsistent results. A wil today will see NEC reclaim top spot which is currently occupied by Roda. We're expecting over 2.5 in this based on recent results for both sides.

At this point we've all heard of the disaster which was Arsenal's European fixture against Anderlecht in mid-week, a 3-0 half time lead squandered in the second. Wenger will be looking to quickly move on from this, with his side progressing to the next round focus is now on the league. Swansea sit just 2 points behind the Gunners and will see today's game as winnable following the visitors recent form, both sides will miss key players, Swansea's defense in particular looking weak here, attack-wise they are both very capable, Welbeck will lead the line for Arsenal, with Ramsey, Sanchez and Chamberlain in support, similarly Swansea have no issues up front, Bony will take on his target-man role with in-form Siggurdsson and Dyer supplying. We expect a fast, free-flowing game of football today, both sides like to play an attractive style and we can see goals being in abundance here.
Wolfsburg have won their last 5 matches in the Bundesliga and have scored at least 2 goals at home in their last 9. They have also been winning at HT and FT in their last 3 so look good for goals in either half. Wolfsburg are also undefeated in their last 8 matches against Hamburg. Hamburg have lost 12 of their last 14 away games in the division. Wolfsburg are second in the league and look great value for the win today.
Roma are great value today as they host a tired Torino, a side which struggles to pick up points away from home. Roma suffered a major blow in the Champions League, a shock 9-1 aggregate score-line saw German outfit Bayern Munich progress with ease and the Italians looking surprisingly out of sorts. The second leg provided boss Rudi Garcia with an ample chance to rest his key players, his squad has has time to recover and now need to pick up 3 vital points and regroup before the international break next week. Torino battled hard in Finland during mid-week, holding onto their lead and progressing to the next round of the Europa League, they did lose the 2nd leg however and will be tired today, even at their best they would struggle to pick up anything in Rome, for this reason we see great value today.
Rijeka are big favourites heading into this fixture, while they may well win, they represent no value. They head into the game off a 2-0 away loss to Feyenoord in mid-week, a result which followed two poor 1-1 draws against sides in the bottom half within the league and host one of the divisions best and most in-form sides. Zagreb are no push overs but concede way too often to be any real threat to the top 3, they are however still picking up results which only goes to prove how lethal that can be in front of goal. Rijeka have scored in all of their last 23 home fixtures, regularly bagging 2 or more, they are extremely likely to net today, tiredness should also see them concede. Goals seem likely, both sides look good to get on the score sheet, 1 in the 1st half seems a no-brainer.
This match is huge in France, this years Classique gaining extra spice from that fact that Marseille actually sit above the giants this year, PSG in 2nd place. Big news today is that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to return from his injury, all eyes will be on him to pull the side through and punters may be wise to get on the big Swede to net at any time. Marseille may be top of the league and in fine form, but a 1-0 away loss to 4th place Lyon, their first real test this season, proved they are not invincible, and are susceptible to the bigger sides, they don't come bigger than PSG. Laurent Blanc's side still won't move ahead of Marseille with a win today, but fail to take all 3 points and doubts really will be cast on the coach and this seasons title expectations.
We expect New England to edge past Columbus in this play off but not without a fight from the opponents. There has been over 2.5 goals scored in Columbus's last 5 MLS matches and the same for New England. Columbus have also scored at least 2 goals in their last 4 league games and the same can be said for the home side in 5 of their last 6. Head to head in New England's last 3 matches against Columbus there have been over 2.5 goals. New England put 4 past these in the first leg last week which finished 4-2 so there is still hope for Columbus. We're expecting a lot of action in this one.
