Football Tips 21/11/2013

The Navy have played 4 games so far in this competition, 2 wins against low league opposition and 2 big defeats ( 9-0 to Loyola and 5-0 to Green Archers). Today’s fixture sees them face Global who have played 3 and won 3 (7-1, 4-0 and 5-0). A big win is on the cards for Global today who finished just 3 points behind top in the first division, only 4.5 goals is available but it should be a safe bet at good odds.

We are only 2 games into the league and already 3 of the 4 games played between them have seen over 2.5 goals. This is a running theme between these two, half of Masafi’s and 18 of Urooba’s 26 games last season saw over 2.5 score. These two have met 14 times in the past, just 2 of these have ended with less than 3 goals in the game!

Going on recent form this one should include a bonanza of goals, but we’ll settle for one goal per team to a successful bet. Horsens have scored 4 in 3 of their last 5 games and conceded in 4 of those games. Lyngby have scored in all but one of their home games this season, usually scoring more than one too. We fancy it for over 2.5 and certainly a goal in the first half, but we think the best value is in both teams finding the back of the net.

Fribourg take on bottom of the league Monthey who have con ceded 3 in each of their last 4 games and haven’t picked up a win since September. Fribourg can go joint top with a win in this one and after having 2 losses to some very good teams they will be looking to fight their way back to the top with 3 points against a struggling team. Monthey have conceded 33 goals in 14 games so far this campaign.
