Mariehamn are a division above opponents JJK, who were relegated last year. When the two last met in the league JJK were beaten 4-1. These two actually met in this competition two years ago, in another game which ended in a 4-1 win for Mariehamn, and we expect a similar result here today. This is the quarter-final stage, and Mariehamn have the lowest ranked side left in the competition at home so will want to take full advantage today.

The Spartans trail 3-1 from the first leg, and need at least two goals to see their way through to the final where they will get the chance to secure a league and cup double. Sparta have won their last 11 home games, scoring at least two goals in ten of these games, and have scored 40 goals in their 13 home league fixtures so far. Prague have the league’s two top-scorers in David Lafata and Josef Hušbauer, and should start them as they need the goals.

Gremio are trailing 1-0 on aggregate and must get something from this game if they wish to stay in the competition. San Lorenzo have travelled poorly in Argentine (winning only two of their nine away) and travelled poorly outside of Argentina (scoring one goal and one point from their three away Copa Libertadores group fixtures). Gremio advantaged through the group stages without conceding a goal in Porto Alegre, and with Argentina international striker Hernan Barcos up front we fancy them to grab a goal or two.
