- Cambridge v Tamworth : Cambridge Win [8/15]
To start of todays tips we head to Cambridge. Cambridge are joint top of the league with 3 wins and 2 draws. They have strenghtend very well this summer, with the aquisition of ex Wrexham keeper Chris Maxwell, And Adam Cunnington from Tamworth who scored 21 goals for them last year! After a few years of mediocrity, this seems to be the year they are planning there promotion push, And i have no doubt they will be play off contenders! Tamworth on the other hand are consistant relegation battlers. Tamworth on the road are pretty abysmal, as expected. With only 2 wins in their last 15 games in the league, both being against fellow relegation battlers. The only glimmer of light tamworth have is the summer signing of player/manager Darren Byfield, if he decides to play!
- Forest Green V Alfreton : Forest Green Win [8/11]
For the next tip we head to crazy signing, free spending Forest green who this year are hoping to buy the league. However things haven’t gone their way so far with only 2 wins from 5, But today they should have more than enough firepower to get their Title push back on track. After an impressive 8-0 win for the first game of the season at home, and a draw against fellow title contenders luton, Forest green will be looking to make The New Lawn a fortress! This pick may look a little strange if you look at the table, Given that Alfreton are above in the league with more points. However on the road they often struggle, and especially against the bigger teams in the league!
- Salisbury V Halifax : Both teams to score [4/6]With the last pick of the day, we stay in the South west of england, And move from Gloucestershire and head into Wiltshire, Where Salisbury take on Halifax. Both of these teams are newcomers to the league this year, but both have had such a different start to the season with Halifax sitting 1 point of the top, and Salisbury 2 points from Relegation. Salisbury have had a tough start, but in their last 26 games at home they have only failed to score twice! Whereas Halifax on the other hand, In their previous 21 matches on the road have only failed to score 3 times!
As always, i will be taking these as singles and a treble, With the treble coming in at 3.41/1 on bet365.
Best of luck to all!
Rhys.
