Livorno are in serious trouble within the league, having been promoted last year a return to the lower division looks all the more likely, they have managed to pick up just 2 wins since February and with a tricky games against Inter tonight followed by a trip to Turin to play current leaders Juventus it couldn’t really get much worse for the relegation placed side. A win here means everything for the Nerazzurri, two home slip-ups heading into this sees them absolutely needing the 3 points tonight and while it may be on the road there aren’t many easier paces to travel to, Livorno have lost 11 of the 15 games played at the Stadio Armando Picchi this season and anything but a defeat seems unlikely. There are a number of teams vying for that final Europa spot, four of these are less than 5 points behind Inter, another mistake and against a team like Livorno could be the final nail in the coffin.

Fenerbahce are top, 7 points clear and with 2 games in hand over Galatasaray will be very pleased but continually wary of the close danger posed by Drogba and Co, we expect them to continue to pick up results and especially at home where they are actually the only side still holding on to an unbeaten record and net almost 3 goals per game. Bursaspor are a very average side, 12th but with a game in hand over most below them, they are relatively safe from the drop at this point, their away form is poor though and has seen them concede 10 goals in the last four games alone, stark contrast to their hosts today who come into the game having won and scored 2 or more in all of their last 6 at home.

The Black Cats will be absolutely desperate for something from this one, recent performance have been promising but unfortunately not lead to any points, as always though home form remains solid enough and with relegation on the horizon they simply cannot fail today. Sunderland’s position in the red is slightly skewed with them having 2+ games in hand over their fellow strugglers, a couple of wins and they can easily start climbing out of the zone, they must start today. West Ham have lost their last two away and even got booed off when they beat a 10 man Hull side, Big Sam's brand of football is proving to be unpopular with the West Ham fans and this will get to the players. We expect a fairly cagey affair at the Stadium of Light but it’s a fixture the hosts have won on the past two occasions and one they must win today.
