    - Wrexham v Welling : Wrexham win [4/7] So saturday brings about the start of the skrill premier league, And if my username doesn’t give it away, Wrexham is my team. On most occasions people say not to back your own team. However given our performances pre season, coupled with the fact we haven’t lost an opening fixture for six years, and Welling only being part time. I think its safe to say a win for Wrexham should be pretty certain, especially if we are to match our points tally of 98 of the season before last.

    - Forest Green v Hyde : Forest Green win [4/7] Once again i am going to stick to whats familiar to me and carry on in the Skrill premier. If any of you caught the BT Sport Conference review last monday, It will be no shock as to why im going for Forest Green. They are the PSG of the conference spending BIG this summer, And now have 8 quality strikers on there books and in theory (although i hope not!) should walk the league. Forest green are also facing another part time team in Hyde, and should walk away with all 3 points!

    - Southport V Luton : Luton or Draw [3/10] Forest Green are not the only big boys in the league, as Luton also have one of the biggest budgets. Once again for almost 5 seasons straight Luton start the campaign as favorites despite even making the play offs last year. However there is method in the madness, as they now have Jon still who previously won the Division with Dagenham and Redbridge. Luton can also boast on a quality strikeforce in Jon shaw ( top scorer for gateshead 2 seasons ago with 27) and Andre Gray (17 goals last season)

The treble comes in at 2.21/1 on bet365 as always.

If you want to bolster the odds for more profit add Kidderminster to win [4/7] s they finished second last season. That should take your 4 fold too 4.04/1

    Hoping for some good results!

    Rhys

Unlucky there, Southport winning 1-0. Wrexham left it late but Forest Green omgosh? Look like a good bet for promotion.

Yer stupid red card from Lutons centre half probably cost the bet. I think you could probably do Forest green minus 1 every game, as it seems they must of had all 8 of their strikers on!! Although last year they only won 1 against the top 8 teams so we will see when they have a proper test!

One thing I will say – I’m a Stockport season ticket holder and from what I’ve seen over the last two seasons, whether you’re part-time or full-time makes absolutely no difference whatsoever when it comes to results. I certainly wouldn’t back a full-time team over a part-time team just because they’re full-time.
