  • FK Karabakh (OVER 1.5 TEAM GOALS) Best Odds: 1/3 (1.33) bet 365 | Position: n/a | Game: UEFA Champions League Qualifying - 5.30 PM KO (Home)
Azerbaijan champions Karabakh are backed with some serious money, allowing them to sign three Brazilians, the most impressive one of these being Reynaldo, who scored five goals in European competitions last season. Another Brazilian, Chumbinho, won the first leg for Karabakh in Malta. Karabakh also missed a penalty in that match, and despite dominating possession they did not play to the best of their abilities. Tickets have sold out for this game and fans will turn up to this one expecting to see a comfortable home win. In previous years they have fallen to big clubs like Twente, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge and Eintracht Frankfurt. Karabakh probably won’t qualify for the Champions League this year either, but they should still brush aside their Maltese opposition today.

  • Debreceni VSC (OVER 1.5 TEAM GOALS) Best Odds: 2/5 (1.4) bet 365 | Position: n/a | Game: UEFA Champions League Qualifying - 7.30 PM KO (Home)
Debrecen won the Hungarian title on the strength of their home form, scoring 38 goals in 15 home league games. Their goals come from across the pitch, with Kulcsár and Szakály as goal scoring midfielders supporting veteran Senegalese striker Ibrahima Sidibé. They are all expected to feature today. Debrecen proved their quality in pre-season with a 4-2 win over Lyon, and they should be much too strong for the Northern Irish opponents today. Cliftonville have lost 19 of their European fixtures, conceding 71 goals. They lost 5-0 on aggregate to Celtic last season, and were beaten 4-0 in Sweden by Kalmar the year before. Debrecen have a much richer European pedigree, qualifying for the Champions League group stages in 2009 they put three goals past Fiorentina and nearly picked up a result in their two games with Liverpool. They should put Clintonville to the sword tonight without too much trouble.
  • Celtic (-1 HANDICAP) Best Odds: 2/5 (1.4) bet 365 | Position: n/a | Game: UEFA Champions League Qualifying - 7.45 PM KO (Home)
Celtic dominated the first game and it would of been a much more comfortable score line had they not rattled the frame of the goal multiple times. Celtic should not take as long to break the Icelandic team down in front of a home crowd and on a bigger pitch which will allow them to open the opposition up. Look out for Kris Commons to find the back of the net, he's Celtic's biggest threat and they will be looking for him to produce tonight. The winner of the tie will play either Legia Warsaw or St Patrick's Athletic, who are level at 1-1 from the first leg with the second in Dublin on Wednesday. This should be a great opportunity for Celtic to reach the group stages once again.
  • Wolves (DOUBLE CHANCE WIN/DRAW) Best Odds: 1/2 (1.5) bet 365 | Position: n/a | Game: UK Friendlies - 7.45 PM KO (Away)
Wolves have split their squad in two, with the first team travelling to Peterborough whilst the second eleven travel to Telford. Kenny Jackett will be at Peterborough as that is where most of the eleven who will start the Championship’s opening match will be playing. The bookies don’t seem to have read the memo though, and so the odds are looking very generous here. Wolves dominated League One last season with 103 points all told, and though Peterborough are a decent team in that league they did lose 13 more matches than Wolves. Wolves have strengthened for the Championship this summer by signing Heerenveen winger Rajiv van La Parra and – crucially for this game – they pinched Peterborough captain Tommy Rowe. Wolves have won their three friendlies so far and with the first team playing the full ninety minutes here Jackett would be highly concerned if his side were to lose.

  • Germany U19 Best Odds: 2/5 (1.4) bet 365 | Position: 1st | Game: European U19 Championship - 7.30 PM KO (Home)
Germany looks set to dominate the footballing landscape for a while now, and their well-organized youth coaching system has possibly provided them with another group of future champions at under-19 level. They are the strongest team in this competition and will want to follow in the footsteps of their seniors by winning a trophy this summer. Werder Bremen striker David Selke has scored seven in six appearances for the U19 team including two in his last outing – a 3-0 victory over Bulgaria. Serbia could only manage a 1-1 draw with Ukraine in their opening game, a stark contrast to the Germans dominance over Bulgaria. Portugal and Germany are expected to win all their matches en route to the final, and we cannot see Serbia providing too much resistance tonight.
  • Dynamo Kiev (DRAW NO BET) Best Odds: 2/5 (1.4) bet 365 | Position: n/a | Game: Ukraine Super Cup - 7.30 PM KO (Neutral)
The crisis in Ukraine has begun to affect its football teams, and Eastern Ukranian giants Shakhtar were rocked by the news this season that their six South American players have refused to board the plane back to Ukraine and are staying in France following their 4-1 friendly defeat to Lyon. It had already been a bad transfer window for Shakthtar, who lost key player Eduardo to Flamengo, as well as experienced Czech defender Tomas Hubschman. Donestsk is still under rebel control and the future looks bleak for both the city and it's club. Kiev are safely on the West of the river and have a full strength team to choose from. Dynamo won this fixture 2-1 in May and with Shakhtar is disarray it is hard to imagine a different outcome today.
  • Portugal U19 Best Odds: 8/15 (1.53) bet 365 | Position: 1st | Game: European U19 Championship - 7.30 PM KO (Home)
The future looks bright for Portugal, as their under-19 squad consists of players such as Manchester City’s Marcos Lopes, Barcelona’s Agostinho Odiquir Cá, and the lightening fast winger Bruma (who has already been called up for the senior team). Lopes scored twice as Portugal beat Israel 3-0 in their opening game, living up to their reputation as group favourites. Today’s opponents Hungary were beaten 3-1 by Austria, who are expected to finish second behind Portugal. Portugal U19s have won their last seven matches, scoring at least three goals in each of their last five fixtures. Hungary have conceded in their last six matches, with Cyprus being the last side unable to break down their defence.
