Although Hull still have a great squad overall and have enough quality to see off Trencin, the key men missing at the back will leave them exposed and we’re expecting at least one goal to be conceded.
Molde are 9 points clear in their league and have had a few fantastic seasons in Norway. They have only lost 3 times in their league in the last 12 months and are a real threat going forward. Zorya are not great defensively and have conceded more than 1 goal a game often in recent fixtures. We’re not ruling out them scoring but we’re certainly not expecting them to keep a clean sheet.
Grodig picked up a 4-0 win in the first leg during the previous round and they will look to grab another comfortable margin to make the second leg am encounter they don't have to worry about so much, especially as they will have to travel away to Moldova during the Austrian Bundesliga season. Zimbru scraped through on an away goal in the last round, but will struggle when they face Grodig which is a big step up for them. Grodig have scored 15 goals in their 5 July games already and will push for more against a weaker defence than they have faced previously. Zimbru conceded the most amount of goals away from home in the top half of the Moldovan top flight league last season and will come to this game to defend, but ultimately struggle to stop the Austrians who have already got their season underway.
Sporting Cristal started their season off in ominous form which see's them down in 10th sot after 9 games, but one thing remains present from previous seasons and that's their strength at home. A lot of teams in Peru tend to struggle on the road and this should be no different today for Leon Huanuco who have already lost 4 of their last 5 visits to the Estadio Alberto Gallardo. Sporting Cristal scored 3 in their last 2 home encounters against Leon Huanuco to run out comfortable winners and we expect something similar today especially after their impressive 6-0 win last time out at home and the fact that they have scored 12 goals in their last 3 games.
Cortibia will attempt to make things comfortable for themselves in this first leg tie by notching a few goals against a team from Serie C and we believe they have enough fire power to see at least two attempts find the back of the net.
